I really want to know why people hate Megan so much.
Most of Megan’s songs have flopped. She is not a #1 Billboard chart topper. And I doubt she has the power to influence Nicki Minaj’s career.
On the show Queens (with Brandy, Eve and Naturi Naughton) there was a woman blaming women who came forward about being sexually assaulted. Saying they put themselves in that situation, they deserved it and she had no sympathy. It later came out that SHE was a sexual assault victim and instead of dealing with it, dished out the same evil people said to her on other sexual assault victims.
That’s what Nicki Minaj is doing. She had an extremely abusive childhood at the hands of her father. I remember when she first came out and talked about how he set their house on fire. She wanted to take his life because he terrorized them so bad.
And then..her brother. Nobody has ever questioned if her brother….hurt her. He hurt a child(this is not alleged, he’s in jail) So, if we use common sense. Look at her brother. Look at who she married and how she treats his victims.
I suspect Nicki Minaj is a victim herself. Safareer, Meek Mill..have ALL had abusive allegations.
People think because of her persona she can’t be being abused behind closed doors?
And then for Nicki Minaj to say Megan twerked on a minor…when Megan twerked on a 19 year old, but people dug up Nicki twerking on a minor…projection much?
Megan has been through hell. And now Nicki is saying she slept with her mother’s boyfriend, giving fans the greenlight to go and desecrate her mother’s grave…seriously?
Nicki has been coming at Megan HARD and now that she responds, it’s a problem?
There is no reason Nicki should be defending Tekashi 69, her husband, brother..none of these men. Women like Nicki are why it’s so hard for women like Cassie to come forward. They’re villified, told to be quiet and people seem to be mad Megan stopped protecting a man who abused her.
I’m done with Nicki. There was no reason for her to come for Meg in the first place. She had no reason to be threatened. This is disgraceful. I get that she’s mad about what Megan said, but 1) it could be applied to SEVERAL men in her life, not just her husband. 2) She came for Megan first.
They have to heighten security at Megan’s mother’s gravesite. THIS. IS. INSANE.
And in any other situation, the public leader inciting this evil would be condemned.
