my childhood weeps at this new winnie the pooh movie

one of my favorite characters in winnie the pooh’s universe is eeyore.
i felt so seen as a kid with that depressed donkey.

tigger,
who was the lit friend,
always felt too “on” for me.
he is the type that would have the best weed and would be down to fight.
as an adult,
i really fuck with the friendship and loyalty winnie and piglet both have.
these days instead of having an adventure in the 100 acre wood,
those two are now villainous murderers out for revenge…

um…

and this line via ( x tv line ):

The trailer also features a brief glimpse of Eeyore’s tombstone. Rumor has it the depressed donkey is consumed by his starving friends.

*screaming in childhood horror*

Did Disney green light this project?

via ( x ign ):

While Disney still owns the rights to the cartoon versions of Winnie the Pooh, the original A.A. Milne books entered the public domain this year, meaning the filmmakers can use his name and story, as long as the movie doesn’t include elements invented by Disney later.

at first,
i thought this was a joke.
it’s giving that one movie,
you’re next“.

if you haven’t seen ^this movie,
i suggest you do.
it was GOOD and one of my favs.
this movie def defines “the final girl“.
anyhoo,
this looks like a hot shit of mess and i’ll be watching
