watching “queer” last night,
i realized i was the main character with a twist.
i never financially paid for another male but i did pay emotionally.
lee (played by daniel craig) had me in my feelings at 12 am.

at first,
i thought the movie was weird but as i watched,
i started to fully understand the story…

Everyone and their mama has been asking me if i saw Sinners.

i haven’t but i do did plan to see it.
you’ll soon see how i fucked up.
many people i know,
including Foxholers,
told me go see it in the theater NOW.

“Yes sir!”

i forgot that i had a voucher for a free ticket to see wicked last year.
i never saw wicked in the theater because it came out on digital shortly after.
so i went to AMC and booked a ticket to see sinners for this week.

“70mm,” it said.

i heard this is how you’re supposed to see this movie.
uh,
no.
this is the part i learned that i fucked up…

He looks better with a beard.

take that how you will.
so dylan o’ brien was the talk of the forests all weekend.
i was never a “teen wolf” kind of fox but that is where he started.
i do remember him being the love interest in a taylor swift video tho.

the reason he was the talk was about a new movie he is in called “twinless“.
it is about two males who end up in a relationship because…
they are twinless twins.
it wasn’t the “potential oscar buzz” (i kid) movie that was the font…

it was his gay sex scene in the movie…

watching anora left me with a lot of thoughts…

I haven’t been this shaken by a movie since “Requiem for a Dream”.
There is another one I saw that I don’t know the name but I never forget it either.
That movie dragged me through the trenches of addiction.
The ending of that movie left terrified of ever going there myself.

at 3 a.m tho,
curled up on my couch watching “the substance“,
i found myself stuck in pure horror…

and then running to my bathroom to vomit.
yes,
i threw TF up watching that movie…

Have you ever noticed how the truth can get buried under a really good performance by someone who is seen as “good”?

i can’t font you how many “glinda the good witches” i’ve met in my time on this forest.
the ones who sparkle with kindness and virtue because of wealth or popularity.
if we’re being 110%,
they were all “glinda the good bitches” because eventually,
it’s almost theatrical how their exposure is.

Unfortunately for you,
you don’t get the luxury of an apology from the munchkins who listened.
You just end up all wet.

funny enough,
i’ve never seen or read wicked…
