ya’ll ain’t supporting your bros?

i know all ya’ll back outside.
the social media posts are a clear indication.
movie theaters are starting to get packed again.
the movie,
bros,
came out over the weekend:

and ya’ll clearly have it on ignore because…

so i saw the trailer for the whitney biopic, “i wanna dance with somebody”, and well…

it’s going to be hard to do anything biopic about whitney houston.

1 – Who can truly embody and play Whitney?
2 – The stans are going to rip it apart piece by piece.

it’s going to be:

i saw the trailer for the new whitney movie,
i wanna dance with somebody“,

my childhood weeps at this new winnie the pooh movie

one of my favorite characters in winnie the pooh’s universe is eeyore.
i felt so seen as a kid with that depressed donkey.

tigger,
who was the lit friend,
always felt too “on” for me.
he is the type that would have the best weed and would be down to fight.
as an adult,
i really fuck with the friendship and loyalty winnie and piglet both have.
these days instead of having an adventure in the 100 acre wood,
those two are now villainous murderers out for revenge…

the black panther: wakanda forever trailer was released and…

when black panther came out in 2018,
they said the sequel would come out in 2022.
i was like DAMN THATS A LONG ASS TIME

…well,
here we are.

it’s 2022 and the sequel to black panther is coming out.
black panther: wakanda forever.
we lost chadwick boseman,
who starred as black panther,
back in 2020.
the talk was why would they make this without him?
who is gonna be the next black panther?
how is this even gonna go?
they released the trailer tonight and…

so i watched b-boy blues and, yeah, so…

it’s funny how we see things differently as we mature.
in my case,
i see things differently now that i’ve been in therapy.
i can see “oh you a fuckboi” these days.

I watched B-Boy Blues over the weekend.

i haven’t read the book by james earl hardy in years.
in my opinion,
i thought the movie was well cast and well-acted.
they pulled out the best of the best in terms of looks and talent.
thomas mackey,
who played raheem,
commanded all the attention on screen.
his chemistry with mitchell,
which was played by timothy richardson,
was off the charts.

i liked everything about the bts aspect of production.
let’s font about what i didn’t like.
is it me or…

THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS

i was talking to someone about “the devil’s wear prada” the other day.
meryl streep portrayed miranda priestly so iconically.
my friend said:

“I loved the movie and hate it at the same time.
The movie portrays everything wrong with corporate America.”

…and thats when i was slapped into reality.
when i sat down and really thought about it…
