i saw this tweet and saw my life flash before my eyes.
i saw past friendships,
frenemies,
and all kinds of bitches from my mental spin around the friendship block.
i can’t font for others but this is simply from my own experiences…

Any “friend” who tries to embarrass you in public.

people out point out your flaws or try to humble you with an audience.
the types that need to point out your shit to take the light off theirs.
so i use to be in a straights group with a little (and i do mean little) jackal like this.
this little muthafucka was probably dealing with a napoleon complex.
he would always try to point out people’s flaws in our group.
like,
are you a friend or an opp?
what’s going on here?
he tried it with me but i often times ignored him.
he would point out my feminine traits and it would shut me up.

There was one wolf in our group he would constantly pick on.
This wolf was the most attractive one within our group.
He naturally got attention because he was extremely handsome.
The little jackal would oftentimes go no mercy on his ass.
From him not having money,
what vixens would say about him behind his back,
and whatever else he could point out in that moment.
The wolf would fight back but you could tell it hurt his feelings.
Nowadays,
that wolf seems to do any and everything for everyone’s approval.
He molds to whoever he dates or is friends with.
It seems like he is loyal to a fault and desperately needed their friendships too.
I bounced from that group because they didn’t serve me; he is still hanging with them tho.
Crazy enough,
I use to have his back and he ended up turning on me for those same wolves.

We’ll get into the “follower” type in a few.

Any “friend” who only hits you up to talk about themselves.

anyone who doesn’t check in to see how you’re doing,
but the only time they hit you up is to yapp about themselves,
their problems,
or what someone did to them this time…

that is a self absorbed person whose other friends created boundaries with them.
they don’t want to hear or read their shit.
they learned to “uh huh” and “oh wow” them to death until they get the message.
they know YOU have no boundaries and are available so they’ll hit you up.
curve that immediately and direct them to a therapist they can YAPP YAPP YAPP to.

Any “friend” whose sole purpose in life is to find a man or get fucked.

all they do is talk about sex or being on dating sites all day.
it’s like do you feel anything other than horny?
do you have problems?
do you feel sad?
do you cry?
do you read?
do you play games?
do you do anything other than be a blow up doll or a stand in?
it gives “deeper issues“.
their whole fuckin’ life revolves around “swipe left” and “big dicks”.
that is also the type of “friend” who you’ll NEVER hear from when they’re with someone.
once its over,
it’s rinse and repeat until they find another dick/clit to suck on.

Any “friend” whose entire personality is based on something.

gay,
trans,
pro black,
pro black woman,
feminist,
vegan,
ultra-christian,
spiritual twitter,
gym rat,
being a stan,
MAGA…
these types are defined by THIS one thing and it becomes who they are.
they are fuckin’ annoying and extra sensitive.
they live and breathe this shit because ultimately,
they haven’t cultivated a personality outside of that one thing.
none of this means they are decent human beings.
they don’t understand this is ONE SLICE of their entire human pie.
they’ll learn when they see no one wants to be around them for too long.

Any “friend” who prides themselves on being a mouth piece.

i’m fonting about the types who will let you know they’ll cuss or fight anyone.
“they know i ain’t the one!”
“i’m crazy! i’ll cut a bitch!”

they are just shooting off warning shots to scare people off from fuckin’ with them.
i’ve seen those types bow down to someone with a bigger mouth or two piece.
when its time to step up,
a majority of them go absolutely quiet.
from my view,
they cussed out one or two people and they think they big time now.
usually,
its a parent or sibling.
it always takes a bigger bitch to check that little bitch.

Any “friend” who is a follower.

this person does not have a backbone,
they will not stand up for you,
and they damn sure will join in when others are talking shit about you.
they will stop fuckin’ with you because others aren’t fuckin’ with you.
they will smile in your face while in a separate group chat that you weren’t invited to.
these types end up following others to no where.
they go where the wind blows to whoever is popular at the time.
they often circle back when the person (people) they were following turn on them.
when they become YOU.

Remember,
when you leave,
someone else needs to take your place.
Since they are the weakest links,
they’re up!

personally,
i get the tea and then tell them i don’t “do” trauma bonding.

those are the types that draw red flags for me in potential friendships.
