Ya’ll Making Four Year Olds “Gay Icons” Now?

the following story a f-bi sent me is disturbing on many levels.
i shook my head about 7 times.
in a whole row.
i know youth is “in” but…
so the gays have a new gay icon now!
it’s not some new diva to replace the current ones.
prince george of cambridge,
cub of prince william and duchess catherine,
got the title by “pinknews” due to some photos he took.
this is what the dailymail has to say…

Hands raised to his face with joy, he was simply expressing the excitement of a little boy getting a ride in a helicopter.

But an article on a leading LGBT website said the shot of Prince George has turned him into a ‘gay icon’.

Accompanied by the picture, the story on PinkNews said: ‘Prince George has become a gay icon overnight. The monarch-to-be has always been cute and well-dressed, but one day before his fourth birthday, a photo of him excitedly holding his face changed everything.

‘At least, that’s what the people – sorry, his subjects – are saying.’

It continued: ‘The image of the prince expressing his happiness in this way led many to declare their support of George for a whole new position: gay icon.’

Northern Irish politician Jim Allister, leader of the ultra-conservative Traditional Unionist Voice (TUV) party, yesterday demanded an apology.

He said: ‘Sexualising a young child in this fashion is entirely inappropriate. To take an image of a little boy and to fantasise of him being an icon for a life defined by sex is outrageous and sick.’

PinkNews chief executive Benjamin Cohen said he had no intention of removing the article, which he said was ‘tongue-in-cheek’ and based on the comments of ‘hundreds’ of social media users.

Tweets that featured alongside the original article, included: ‘Prince George is already a bigger gay icon to me than Boy George’.

Mr Cohen told the Mail: ‘At no point did PinkNews state that Prince George is a “gay icon” – the article merely reported on a large volume of social media posts saying that he was.

‘The original article was published on July 25 with the headline: “People think Prince George looks fabulous in this new photo”.’

wow.
does that cub even know how to spell “gay icon”?
and what does his new title make him do exactly?

i will not allow it.

lowkey: what makes a gay icon?

  1. I remember reading comments about this pic last month. Most of the comments were negative, people saying this boy looked effeminate in terms of his pose. Most of them were calling him gay but in an insulting way.The way they call Amber Rose and Wiz son gay because he is sweet and well spoken.Or the way they call Dywane Wade’s son Zion gay because of his mannerisms.
I am guessing some people saw the negative comments and decided to counteract by saying he is a gay icon.

I say leave this child alone calling him gay as an insult or as a compliment is inappropriate,IMO.

    1. You are very hypocritical when you say leave him alone he just the child I like boys when I was his age people call me gay when I was younger I thought you were born gay and a child is born gay and all of a sudden you’re believing that being gay is a choice now This picture came from a meme it was meant to be a joke and that dude who try to label this as sexualization of a child he’s from North Ireland he is probably a pedophile himself. in northern Ireland they falsely accuse a gay man for having child porn he had Twink porn on his computer they thought it was child porn

      1. I don’t make assumptions about a child’s sexuality based on a picture or even on their mannerisms.I never ask a little boy do you they have a girlfriend because that’s making an assumption that they like girls.I know sexual orientation is not a choice because I didn’t choose to be heterosexual.I don’t know what this boy’s sexual orientation is nor do I care. All I hope is whatever it is he has a family who loves and support him unconditionally.

I have no idea what you find hypocritical about my comment of not speculating on a child’s sexuality.

  2. Reading Isiah’s definition of a gay icon kinda made me sad because gay men looking up to a child? That’s sad. It’s like those pageant moms living through their daughters.

  3. Absolutely ridiculous…idk what makes one, but it certainly should have NOTHING to do with anything a child does, end of story…people have lost their damn minds…

      1. Being being a gay icon is when a person who is gay looks up to you you help them to be who they are and you’re not afraid of suppressing themselvesthat goes with a straight person and a gay person that can become gay Icons there was a white boy named Brandon who did vogue he became a gay Icon overnight and look at Diana Ross a straight woman who’s a gay icon because she inspired the gay men to be themselves that’s why she wrote the song I’m coming out that’s the true meaning of being a gay icon you inspire people is not a sexual thing and I hate when people trying to compare the LGBT to pedophilia is not the same thing they don’t do that with heterosexuality and pedophilia
