i haven’t heard it in a while but i still knew every song word for word.

when her album came out,
i was a kid and my mother was still alive.
we were living in a bomb crib and rent was cheap for 3 bedrooms.
fast food tasted better,
the future seemed brighter,
and the only “social media” was sneaking into her aol account.
’99-2000 was probably the best time in my life but i had to wonder…

i feel like when 9/11 happened,

A well organized economic boycott, nationally is the ONLY option. Money or lack of it is the ONLY attention grabber. These Southern states are just hotbeds of toxic white female and male masculinity, white privilege, white grievance.
