we did many things without really thinking it through.
i remember when i wanted to move out at 16,
with no job,
into an apartment with friends at the time.

are in regret over transitioning now.

my parents never taught me about sex.
i learned about it through my friends fuckin’,
sex scenes in movies,
and seeing through the static on the “spice” channel.
i learned about sexuality through my own desires and the internet.
i never was taught anything about the trans community.
it wasn’t a “big thing” like it is now.
i’d like to think parents want to teach their cubs about stuff like this.
what if a teacher decided it was their duty to do it?
