i really love hearing opinions about people’s music choices.
many of us have serious stories that involve an artist we love.
for some of us,
we don’t get why someone else would like a “non-singer”,
but that artist’s songs helped them through hard times.
that anita bakers discussion made me think of how impactful music is.

relationships are not easy.
i’ve started to learn and realize that.
it’s not all sex and social media selfies.
it is learning how to adapt and grow with another person,
even when they get on your last nerves.
their shit stinks,
they might be selfish,
or you have to teach them how to be in a relationship.

“we” were mad some of our favorites got snubbed.
it may have been faux outrage.
that’s open for opinion.
i know one thing tho…
so i listened to sza‘s new album,
while i was cleaning my room yesterday.
i never heard of her until my favorite song on rihanna‘s “anti”,
i honestly thought she was really a “he” and a member of wu tang.
so i was going in with new ears.
