usually,

I started wearing pink when I saw Cam’ron wear this iconic pink outfit.

i always loved the color pink but growing up,
i was told only girls wore pink while boys wore blue.
once i saw him do it because he was one of the hip-hop favs,
i wore an all-pink outfit to an event.
it was a light pink shirt,
light blue jeans,
and squeezed my feets in girl’s pink forces.
i hated wearing them cause they made my feet HURT.
pain is beauty cause i got compliments and was called “pink panther“.

this latest news is major…
i’m not gonna be like the other folk in the community with this story.
the ones excited to see a black male in a sticky situation.
you know when black folks get caught up in the drama,
