he might have ghosted you because he’s mentally unwell

dating is hard.
getting to know someone is hard.
it’s all hard.
you meet someone you’re interested in,
you talk for hours,
fuck for hours,
and then they just up and dip on you.
they could text you to ask if they can come through,
but they can’t use those same words to let you know they need a minute.
they can fuck a stranger they met raw,
but be scared to let you know they aren’t interested.
it’s really disrespectful,
but after watching “insecure” i had to wonder…

Are many people out here dating with severe mental health issues?

it was interesting to hear nathan and issa’s conversation

watching last night’s episode of “insecure: lowkey trying” was triggering for me.
i didn’t to watch it last night because i was up til 7am,
sunday morning,
playing video games with my gaming friends.
so i was tired af and went to bed early last night.
i know this morning i was gonna watch it as soon as i got up.

“Wow.”

i ended up crying because i been in issa’s position before and it really fuckin’ sucked…
(light spoilers ahead)

are you “lowkey happy” or are you fallin’ for his bullshit again?

sometimes two people are not ready for each other.
it could be romantically or even platonic,
but i believe a good separation is often required for a future connection.
as humans,
we don’t appreciate things until they leave and want nothing to do with us.
don’t get me wrong,
some people are just not good for you.
i’m not talking about those jackals and hyenas.

Issa and Lawrence from “Insecure” are a pretty good representation of this.

last nights episode of insecure,
“lowkey happy”,
had me all in my feels at their reconnection…

“i saw that bitch, but i kept the feets moving on that bitch too.” (insecure)

besides star fox,
i had another friend that i thought would have been in my life for a long time.
we ended up breaking up after not being compatible as the years went on.
mutual friends noticed they spoke down to me when we were together.
i noticed it as well,
but i wanted to keep trying to make the friendship work.
i’m sure i wasn’t perfect on my end,
but what friendship truly is?
many years after our end,
we ended up speaking on the phone,
but the spark was gone since we both grew in separate directions.

Friendship break ups are just as tough as breaking up with your man/woman

that seems to be this season’s theme on “insecure” between molly and issa.
last night’s episode,
lowkey trippin“,
had a scene that posed an amazing question from twitter.
i wanted to ask the foxhole about the scenario (light spoilers)

that season that i wasn’t f*ckin with star fox anymore

as i watch “insecure” this season,
i totally get where issa and molly are coming from.
there was a point in star fox and i friendship where i said:

“I’m not fuckin’ with Star Fox anymore…”

i remember when we had our first official fight.
it was a big one after he left to go down to atlanta for school.

low-key: sometimes i wish he would have picked the high paying job,
but i knew he was restless and wanted to pursue his dreams.

anyway,
it was a few months into when he arrived down south…

can we font about insecure “high-like” episode real quick?

i haven’t laughed this loud in a while.
i needed it.
tonight’s episode of insecure,
“high-like”,
was probably the best episode of the season.
the squad took the turn up to coachella and the antics tho…
it was pure shenanigans as only issa could bring.
i’m gonna give a few thoughts
