it took one lonely thanksgiving for me to be introduced to season 1 of hbo’s insecure.
it was the same year the show came out but i waited to watch.
i “had seen” everyone tweeting and talking about it,
but i’m usually turned off by too much hype.
as i watch this last season for the series i love,

i’m boring rn.
like animals in the wild,
everyone’s life has a moment of hibernation.
even when it’s a season of partying and celebrating,
YOU might just want to lay in bed and binge tv shows all day.
sometimes,
life gets boring.
you have no social life,
in the middle of a transition,
no one is fuckin’ you or wit you,
and you’re literally not in the mood for any bullshit.

with no job and in a pandemic with weird violent energy happening outside…

it’s hard to make friends in the industry or even at regular jobs.
