i listened to the megan thee stallion IG live today and i get it.
totally get it.
i was in a similar situation as well right after my mama died.
i learned very quickly how fast “friends” can turn on you…
ya fox was out here rebelling,
grieving,
and living the fast life.
i opened my doors because i was searching for love and friendship.
my family ran back to barbados and it was just me.
so for someone who was always yearning for something i didn’t learn within me,
i ended up in the wrong company.
once i realized these people didn’t have my back and talking shit about me,
i made my exit stage left.
They HATED that shit.
they hated that i wouldn’t be their idiot.
so what they do?
Talk shit about me to everyone with an ear BUT me.
the wild part is they were describing me the way they actually were.
“i’m not your bitch,
don’t put your shit on me.”
i realized they tried to paint me the bad guy before i told my side of story.
as much as i tried to explain my side of the story,
those who followed them weren’t trying to listen.
why would they?
they either knew them longer than me OR knew i had no power.
they made up their minds and it was no use in me begging to be heard.
this is how i first learned how to leave and never return.
I love that they all have been exposed as trash.
i loved the ones who came back to apologize,
tell me how they now see that i was the victim,
or who got fucked over and want to trauma bond.
either way,
everyone who seems to be against megan have horrible reputations already.
they were accused of being abusers or downright horrible people.
no one of quality has tried to drag her through the mud so far.
i think she learned valuable lessons as i did.
here are a few:
Just because they smile in your face doesn’t mean they are your friends.
Be careful who you befriend or date when you are in a low place in your life.
Once you have nothing to offer anymore, you will see who turns on you the fastest.

Megan is the girl in highschool who was cool with anyone, called bullies lame and the mean girls would hate her for it. They’d try to jump her and have it broken up by someone else, or she’d win and still look cute.
People keep waiting for something “bad” to come out about her and it’s exhausting.
Why do people hate that a woman who has a natural body and isn’t light-skinned, is getting attention?
Megan is literally the definition of “don’t have to do too much to be a vibe”. And it incenses others. Instead of praising it, they bash her. They have their personality from their favorite tiktoker and she doesn’t care about being makeup free or admitting she likes anime.
I aspire to be that hated. Just me existing makes you feel inferior? You aren’t, but I’ll eat up the attention.
