…because sometimes,
you don’t realize who you are when you’re drunk:

until someone tells you the next day.

someone i know i first met completely out of control while drunk.
he was two parts friendly drunk,
but i peeped the one part angry drunk peaking out in moments.
he was so drunk,
he was making up shit and sounded really convincing while doing it.
the other night tho,
he got black out drunk and ended up…

i’ll never forget back in the day,
when i was a new little fox in this forest,
i argued with some pornstar on social media one time.
one of the Foxholers came on here and said:

“i was really disappointed seeing you do that.”

…and that sat with me forever.
blocked the pornstar and never did that again.
you never realize how highly people actually view you until you go off script.

some people cannot control their anger,
which is why they fall into traps set for them.
you don’t need to always show up for a battle.
most shit can be ignored especially when you have a career.
i was shocked to learn naquan palmer aka the dl whisperer is currently locked up…

i have a friend who will never admit but i know.
i think we all know “that one friend/family member who didn’t vote or voted wrong”.
suddenly,
they are loud about all that is happening in the country right now.
i mean,
appalled!
…but we know.

so the alleged reason why “the indian lady with the cackle” wasn’t elected for president.
not a shocker but…

i’m gonna font a controversial hot take.
so over the weekend,
john davidson,
a guest with tourette’s who inspired “i swear,”

i appreciate gen z on rih’s social media for their super sleuthing.
when i was a young millennial in my 20s,
i thought i knew everything because:

i was the master of the universe.

as i grew up,
i learned very quickly how i was loud and wrong about many things.
people i admired and went to bat for disappointed me as time went on.
so when i see all this discourse about jay z and harvey weinstein,
if i was a 20-something gen z,
i would probably believe what i saw and take it as truth.
realistically…

there is always that one male identified female cousin/aunt/ya mother,
who will defend or deflect that her brother,
uncle,
or whatever triflin’ male was SA’n various family members.
they will tell the abused:

“go sit on your uncle’s lap.”
“what did you do to deserve it?”
“you was probably being fast.”

…all while waving a bible and telling them they need to learn to forgive or ignore.
“something something… has their faults but they got good in there“.

i’m not fonting and alleging that this is church she-jackal,
kim burrell,
but it seems like like she has a “forgive the demons/pick-me” spirit.
that is very interesting coming from her tbh.
she sat up at that mariah trribute,
wanting us to forgiver her “brothers”,
diddy and r.kelly…
