is 600breezy the only fine rapper these days?

i was just telling someone i don’t see much “yum” in hip-hop nowadays.
back in the late 90s and 00s,
an era i grew up in,
rappers use to be fine-fine.
az,
nas,
ll,
nelly,
and even busta when he debuted the muscles.
jay was even cute when he was young.
these days,
most hip-hop artists in the 20s era look like they just woke up out of bed.
even the r&b singers ain’t sexy.
it wasn’t until i saw this muthafucka the other day in a vladtv interview.
foxhole meet 600breezy…

zoe kravitz has learned what “kitchen table talk” is

this is a learning lesson on when to shut the f*ck up.
it’s a shame that zoe kravitz had to be the example in that lesson.
during slap-gate at the oscars,
zoe used this to caption her picture:
Zoë Kravitz calls out Will Smith in new Instagram posts and says she doesn’t support the way the actor chose to defend Jada Pinkett-Smith. pic.twitter.com/NPIJ8x1US8

…when some of the white folks in hollywood were doing it.
i love she used the incident to highlight her dress.
that wasn’t weird at all.
/s
she has since deleted the picture and regrets what she wrote…

the 7 deadly sins of pop (2010 to 2022)

2010 was an “eh” year.
i didn’t know what direction i was taking the foxhole.
star fox was still making paw prints on earth.
i was out in these forests doing things within the fashion industry.
music had also eh but drake released his debut album.
i was obsessed with kanye’s “my beautiful dark twisted fantasy”.
i was looking through an old file for pictures of star fox and i saw this…

rest in power to terrance dean, author of hiding in hip hop and foxhole inspo

things tend to come full circle.
star fox and i were obsessed with “hiding in hip hop” when it dropped.
it was written by terrance dean and came out in 2008.
the book was about a gay male who told his tales about black dl hollywood.
he dropped hints about who was dl but never revealed names.
it’s very similar to how i operate on the foxhole tbh.
a short time after i read it,
i was connected to terrance and we spoke on the phone.
i told him that i was fascinated by his life and his journey.
i was also super ready to jump head first into black dl hollywood.
legit,
head first.
it made me want to write.
it inspired me to blog about a life i didn’t think existed.
i’ll be transparent but the foxhole was inspired tremendously by his book.
on star fox’s birthday yesterday,
a foxholer sent me some devastating news…

you may never make it in hollywood if you’re poor with no connections

so we want to be actors,
models,
pop stars,
or even content creators but you have no connections.
i.e: we are middle class or poor.
we look up to those before us that we admire.
as we listen to their struggles before they made it,
it helps boost us to keep trying when we have nothing left.
We spend our days fighting for support,
respect,
or a chance to sit at the table.
there we go,
looking at those we admire until we realize something…

donald trump is the (alleged) spy who continues to shag america?

i’ve been hearing people missing trump as president.
people who didn’t support him before suddenly miss him.
they think things would be better than how they are with biden.
even though i think biden isn’t great,
i guess i’m the only one who remembers the dark days of trump’s reign.
i find these new switch-ups interesting because i have to wonder…
