jamari fox stars in #weoutside

i said to myself that i’ve been in need of some kind of outing.
the last time i went out was last summer,
but i’ve been keeping it stupid lowkey due to the pandemic.
yesterday,
i decided to #weoutside and it was pretty interesting…

i haven’t been on the mta since last year,
but diva wanted to link so we could do lunch in the city.
i won’t lie to you,
i was nervous af to get on there.
to my surprise:

Everyone had a mask on.

we stoppin’ the spread,
right cuomo?
i had the vision there was gonna be crazy people everywhere,
due to all the stories i was hearing,
but it was a chill expereince.
it wasn’t packed at all like the city wasn’t packed either.
it was pretty lowkey compared to how it use to be pre-rona.

i been fiending for someone else’s cooked pasta so we ended up getting italian.
we sat in this outdoor situation that showed me the views of the nasty ass new yawk streets.
i ended up getting shrimp scampi and the drink of choice was vodka and sparkling.

overall,
i had a really good time tbh.
it was much needed.
we were supposed to go to a pop-up down in bk,
but diva had something else come up.
it was so good to see her and be outside again,
ya know?
i felt like once i took that train,
it made me more comfortable to get back on it.
i ended up having an impromptu photoshoot on the cobblestones…

it gave me the energy that was desperately needed.

lowkey: i won’t lie to you,
but the fake shit they looked real legit…

…won’t even lie to you,
i wanted this louis vuitton coin purse with the blue labels.
all the rich white vixens were down there shopping for fake bags too.

  1. I was out yesterday first time in a year in Ny, went down south for a few months. @Seli I used Amtrak and I don’t have any issues. I use the roomette during covid. you get your own quarters
@Jamari I agree with friendships lost and every last one had covid or family did so i didn’t regret the distance . Also noticed the realistic fakes downtown. That’s where all the influencers get their shit on IG

  2. I think once I took myself out and got some sun it really calmed down a lot of negatives I was feeling surrounding all this. Glad you got the chance to go out and enjoy yourself.

  3. Jamari you so cute and that outfit was poppin too. đŸ˜˜đŸ€—

I wanna come to NY so bad but with the cases spiking up over here in Cali, Ima be coo and just wait. Glad you got out tho!

  4. Oh wow you don’t look like those muscly dudes you keep thirsting over đŸ€”… Yikes

  5. Mari, jus curious, do you have an IG page for yourself? Like honestly if you don’t you should! We’ve seen the guys you post on their Own pages, give YOURSELF some shine. Those are great shots of you in the street, you should post em on your socials!

  6. Many “friendships” ended because I didn’t feel safe going out. All of these people ended up dealing with Covid, so I clearly wasn’t being dramatic.

    1. ^people are acting like you are some king of alien because you weren’t outside during a pandemic.
to hear they got the rona was kinda satisfying lmao

  7. Brand names are going out of business Jamari. Of course the rich white ladies were down there. No more importing purse labor to sell for quadruple what it cost to make by hand. The brand that did business with Fenty is going bankrupt while Rihanna thrives. There will be new brand names rising from the ashes of the pandemic.

  8. Love to see it!!!! Jamari out â€ïžâ€ïžđŸ˜ŹđŸ˜ŹđŸ˜ŽđŸ˜ŽđŸ˜ŽđŸ™ŒđŸŸđŸ™ŒđŸŸđŸ™ŒđŸŸđŸ™ŒđŸŸđŸ™ŒđŸŸGlad you had fun, you deserve it!!!!

  9. I’m glad that you got a chance to get out and get some vitamin D. I’m thinking about taking a vacation next month via Amtrak, have you ever traveled by Amatrak?

    1. Did amtrak years ago (in the northeast winter).there were so many delays, but it might be different spring and summer. The seats are very roomy too.
