the underdog packs a mighty punch (isn’t that right, anthony joshua?)

i always try to see the lesson in something.
when i do,
i share it with the foxhole.
boxing wolf,
anthony joshua,
learned the hard way about underestimating his opponent.
he was on a streak of having no knock outs.
well last night in new yawk,
he fought this mexican boxing wolf,
andy ruiz jr:

and alla this happened

the look on his face when he realized shit was really real.

oh anthony,
my lust,

i respect him for taking his loss well.
he could have went into hiding,
but he gave andy his props.
you should always handle your losses with pride.
even tho anthony took that  “L“,
i still want to take that “D“.

he is just the type of fine i like.

foxhole…

Never underestimate others

just because they look like they ain’t about nothing,
doesn’t mean they don’t have a whole army inside them.
this whole situation it reminds me of a quote from little finger on “got“.
he was puttin’ my vixen,
sansa stark,
up on game during the 7th season:

“Don’t fight in the North or the South. Fight every battle, everywhere, always, in your mind. Everyone is your enemy, everyone is your friend. Every possible series of events is happening at once. Live that way and nothing will surprise you. Everything that happens will be something that you’ve seen before.” Petyr Baelish

even tho little finger was being devious,
he was right.
the cocky & ignorant ones love to sleep on those beneath them.
they gravitate towards anything popular because it’s bright and shiny.
often times they end up losing because they:

– choose the wrong allies
– second guess those who are deemed “losers”
– get high off of the drug that is “popularity”

as they’re on the way out,
the underdog finds his own seat at the table.
i’ve seen it time and time again.
that cockiness humbles them every time.
i’m sure anthony will bounce back from this loss.
he might have needed to be humbled to learn his own lesson.

lowkey: why did it look like anthony had no stamina last night?
i hope that doesn’t reflect…

  1. Am I the only one thinking what I’m thinking? “AJ looks sexier on his knees…” LOL…

  2. I think this is so interesting, I have to admit I was shocked before they had the fight and I saw the pictures of the two Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz together I thought it was a joke. Anthony looking very chiseled and athletic and Andy was looking flabby and out of shape, so it really is a shocker that Andy won. Its crazy because the older I get the more you see this play out in real life. The skinny person with the nice body turns out to be sickly , the person who is overweight turns out to be as healthy, the person who goes vegan ends up becoming sick, and the person who smokes and eats bacon everyday ends up living to be 110 years old. I think this does pose an interesting question though, which is a what point do stop seeing healthy benefits to a chiseled body and at what point does it simply become vanity?

  3. Either way AJ is still bae, he is physical male perfection in my eyes. Facial symmetry, smile, frame, height, voice etc.
This was a humbling for him I will say.

  4. There’s always someone better!!! I see a rematch, Jamari, do you remember me sending you an email about how fine Joshua was? Hell, I never heard of him, most boxers are crazy in the head, I guess too many blows. I’m going to tell Olivier I want a divorce (lol)
