ya’ll know i’m still depressed over insecure coming to an end,
i’ve been preparing myself for what is about to come.
a foxholer hit me up with this:
this is what kevin savage had to post…
i think people love to test us.
it seems we live in a society that is all about proving ourselves.
you want a relationship?
you want that career?
you want to be the better sibling?
After you look like a serious pick-me,
that is when you have passed the test.
molly from hbo’s insecure,
aka yvonne orji,
says she doesn’t like the word “no“.
a fan wanted a picture with her in 2018 at a women’s empowerment event in boston.
molly ended up saying no but there was a reason why…

watching last night’s episode of “insecure: lowkey trying” was triggering for me.
i didn’t to watch it last night because i was up til 7am,
playing video games with my gaming friends.
so i was tired af and went to bed early last night.
i know this morning i was gonna watch it as soon as i got up.
i ended up crying because i been in issa’s position before and it really fuckin’ sucked…
(light spoilers ahead)
besides star fox,
i had another friend that i thought would have been in my life for a long time.
we ended up breaking up after not being compatible as the years went on.
mutual friends noticed they spoke down to me when we were together.
i noticed it as well,
but i wanted to keep trying to make the friendship work.
i’m sure i wasn’t perfect on my end,
but what friendship truly is?
many years after our end,
we ended up speaking on the phone,
but the spark was gone since we both grew in separate directions.
Friendship break ups are just as tough as breaking up with your man/woman
that seems to be this season’s theme on “insecure” between molly and issa.
last night’s episode,
had a scene that posed an amazing question from twitter.
i wanted to ask the foxhole about the scenario (light spoilers)…

as i watch “insecure” this season,
i totally get where issa and molly are coming from.
there was a point in star fox and i friendship where i said:
“I’m not fuckin’ with Star Fox anymore…”
i remember when we had our first official fight.
it was a big one after he left to go down to atlanta for school.
low-key: sometimes i wish he would have picked the high paying job,
but i knew he was restless and wanted to pursue his dreams.
it was a few months into when he arrived down south…
we all know a “dro”.
he is a character that is in one of my favorite shows,
“insecure” on hbo.
on the show…
