I couldn’t help but wonder:
Are we finally waking up to the madness that’s been parading as entertainment?

a friend recently said to me:

“Have you noticed a majority of folks on OF are crazy or severely mentally ill?”

i paused,
but honestly,
i had to agree.
many of these folks are confidently nuts or selling their souls. let’s take it a step further…

This could be us but you wanna be straight.

everyone has “that guy“.
some of us have multiple guys but for this entry,
it’ll be about “that guy”.

It’s the guy that we want to have a happy ending with.

it seems like those two above are trying to have theirs.
so i posted about ( x this story ) and i got a nice update…

This is the face of someone who will find love again.
He just has to heal from this current hurt.

i was sent in a video that made me sad.
it was from @dougiedougdouglas and his story is pretty brutal.
it’s a story we all have or may experience regardless of looks,
wealth,
or IG clout…

i am not a black woman.
i cannot speak for the issues that black women face.
i do know that when i first came to this country,
and i was bullied horrifically by the straight black boys,
it was black girls who came to my rescue.
they protected and made me feel safe.
as i grew up with them,
i understand that we both share many of the same issues.
some of our straight black “kangs” need to get their shit together.
they are driving us crazy with their shenanigans.

i’m not having the greatest day today tbh.
i was looking for something to change that.
i watched this speech by regina king at the 14th annual governors ball.
it was to honor our legendary queen and national treasure,
angela bassett:

i was so moved.
her voice was so comforting.
angela’s speech tho…

is this the perfect example of not judging a book by its cover?
well,
I think it is.
raymond baynard is huge on broadway and huge in general.

i love when males wear those kinds of shirts.
the ones that highlight the chest like bewbs.
raymond is stacked EVERYWHERE.
unlike the others,
he doesn’t skip leg day.
it seems he has found the beginning of a blossoming love story…
