i live in new yawk so it’s natural. social media has created a world where you can be a star in about 5 minutes.
any loser in real life can flex big shiton an ig profile.
it’s all well and good when you’re online,
Do folks know what it’s really like in the entertainment industry?
i was watching a video that had jaguar wright in it.
she caught up with storm monroe and allegedly exposed mad people for about 3 hours…
i figured jaguar wright was angry with how her career ended up.
i thought she would be going after those who tried to destroy her.
what bugs me is when someone gets the shotgun but shoots everyone else instead of their intended target(s). jaguar decided to take aim at allegedly outing mary j blige…
i’ll never forget the day i got the news aaliyah died.
i was on my way to church and her song,
came on randomly on a cd i made.
as i listened to the song,
it felt like an out of body experience.
it stood out to me in a way i never heard before.
it hit spiritually.
as soon as i got to church,
i got the news and was devastated.
i was a huge stan of my aquarius rising sis.
the fact her music isn’t on streaming platforms gets me tite. jaguar wright seems to think aaliyah was murdered.
this is what she said in a recent interview… Continue reading “aaliyah was murdered? (jaguar wright seems to think so)”
one thing i’ve learned about social media, jobs,
and the industry:
It’s not the place to find friends
now that isn’t saying you can’t meet someone(s) cool in those places,
and eventually they can become your friends after a heavy screening,
but you gotta be real careful with how folks move.
you’ll be carrying around high expectations and catchin’ “L”s each time. i remember jaguar wright from off jay-z “unplugged” album.
her voice is magical,
her first album wasn’t as good,
she was in a commercial…
