when i was let go from my last job,
i found out someone i was “cool” with went back and told my bosses something i said.
it wasn’t anything malicious,
but i shared with the person how i was treated in that meeting.
they ran back,
told my bosses,
and the rest is history.
it hurt my feelings as i thought they had my back,
but again:

sure,
you’ll meet a few who will stick by your side,

listen,
i’ve worked with some fine ass wolves at past jobs.
i’ve never had sex with any of them,

God moves in mysterious ways.
after a comment that was left on my last entry,
i got to thinking about my journey through jobs.
i’ve been through a lot of jobs.
out of 2 jobs i’ve had,
all the rest have been “temp to perm“.
i was always promised that i’d get hired,
and would work my whole tail off,
but it never worked out.
a majority of my bosses have been pretty awful.
after a while,
i saw just how toxic most of the environments were too.
as i was laying here,
trying to figure out my life,
i got a call from my head huntress.
