  1. I’m not happy with the situation but we’re here now. I think Biden had a good chance of winning this thing and would have eked out a victory in November. The numbers said he had a 53% chance of winning this thing with all the odds in his favor. Biden was right in 2020 and beat Trump, he was right and there was no “Red wave” 2 years later in the midterms that many experts predicted. Since the overturning of “Roe v. Wade,” democrats have been winning nearly all elections nationwide even in red districts, so there is a question of whether Democrats snatched defeat from the hands of victory.

I fear for black people specifically because I think a Kamala Harris defeat in November can have unforeseen consequences for black people just in the democratic party alone, never mind the horrible policies that a 2nd Trump presidency will usher in.

If Kamala Harris loses, I can see the following happening.
    1. Black women get eviscerated. Kamala Harris will take the loss, but black women are going to get most if not all of the blame, they are going to be seen as the ones who forced Kamala down our throats.
    2. I think it sparks an epic gender war on multiple fronts in the black community. You already have black men who feel like they have been disregarded, and then you are going to have the vicious criticism of black men who are going to be portrayed as not defending black women strong enough when the storm comes.
    3. I think it would give Democrats permission and provide the framework to move further to the right. As it stands modern Democrats are just Republican-lite.
    4. Lastly, I think it would give Democrats the framework to walk away from issues that specifically affect black people. I think the argument will be that being associated with anything relating to CRT, Woke, or D.E.I which is being pushed as code language for black, and that these things cost elections.

Let me be honest, I’m voting for the Democratic ticket in November and if Kamala Harris is at the top of the ticket then I’m voting for her. I just can’t with Project 2025 or Agenda 47.

  2. Not what I was hoping for but “enough is enough!” I can’t say I blame him, I hope there’s a plan in action. The United States is a whole MESS, this whole pre election. I know I’m not voting for trump.
