I agree this will not hurt her career in the gospel industry.It is not a coincidence that there are no openly gay gospel artists.No gospel artists has publicly spoke about her comments except for Yolanda Adams.Yolanda Adams had the audacity to defend her friend Bishop Eddie Long.She seemed to be more upset by Kim suggesting he may have AIDS.
I believe Kim’s comments may hurt a little with secular artists.She has said she wants to do more secular music so she can minister to people who don’t listen to gospel music.
BTW Donnie McClurkin has said similar stuff to what Kim said, it hasn’t affected his standing in the gospel industry.

Real preachers and ministers of the gospel understand a few things.
1. ALL have come short and fallen from the glory of God.
2. No sin is greater than another.
3. The old testament is a history of sin and quite frankly there are a lot of sins …adultery…divorce..eating shellfish and the list goes on. In the Old Testament the only way to atone for sin was to sacrifice a living animal.
4. But the good news is that God so loved the world that He gave his only Son…not to condemn the world but save the world and atone for sins
5. The Son of God then became the sacrifice to the world to show Go’s loves us and forgives us. God flipped the script in the New Testament by sending his son to be sacrificed.
Noone’s condemnation is in the hands of Kim Burrell or any other person
