how are you weathering your storm?

How do we know when it’s God vs when it’s satan?
How do we know when it’s a test of faith or an attack?
How do we know we are blessed or we are approaching our fate?
How do we know if things will work out or are we doomed to fail?

i saw a story about a family who was in a car accident on wednesday.
the pregnant wife was killed; husband lost his leg.
they were driving to see family for christmas.
i can’t even begin to process my thoughts on ( x that tragedy ).
here goes this guy,
blessed with a wife and the joy of becoming a dad,
only to lose it all in the blink of an eye.

Is that a test from God or the devil saw an opening to attack?

even though that story is extreme,
it resonates with many of us…

one minute things are good and the next:

we are having random ass storms continuously coming out of nowhere.
it has been feeling like one week,
i’m steadying in the storm but the next week,
i am begging God for a life line.

Is God trying to teach me something?
Is the devil trying to break me?

i don’t understand and like many of us,
i keep wondering if i’m being punished or i’m being attacked?

am i being refined in the fire or am i approaching my fate?
am i supposed to seek God for refuge or does the devil want me to drown?

God,
I don’t know what you want.

the devil,
please leave me alone.

i send my prayers to the husband and to my Foxholers in the storm.
2023 feels like its been wild weather for many of us.

we think “this too has finally pass” but we are hit with something else.
some of us are having heavier rain and don’t know if we’ll make it through.

Is the rain watering the seeds we have planted?
Are brighter days ahead because the storm is clearing soon?
Does the devil want to detour us away from God’s plan?

Or are we finally reaping what we have sewed?

i just don’t know what is going on anymore.
i’m praying that we can find Jesus within us.
we have that unshakeable faith to sleep ( x within the storm ).
if not,
give us the strength and guidance to follow the birds towards land.

  1. Truly thank you for this post, I have been feeling all of this lately. Getting to the point where it feels unbearable, and I’m a person with strong faith and practice being optimistic. Reading this and knowing other people is experiencing the same thing I feel somewhat vindicated…. I hope anyone that is feeling this continue to stay strong, see it through, push forward, even in the midst of your self doubt push a little harder, tell yourself just make it through today. For tomorrow is another day and chance for new opportunities, have the mindset that even if the next day not what you expected….keep going cause there is a new day. Within the next days do something different that you haven’t done the day before….small opportunities, ideas, and different outlooks on your life, life in general blossoms in those moments that’s not usually routine.

  2. The attacks on your life are not more powerful than the assignment on your life.

It’s not just about who you are but why you are

3 areas attacks are aimed at:

Often prioritized toward your heart. Not your body alone. Guard your heart.
    Your mind. Thought traffic.
    Aimed at your strengthn

  3. The devil is trying to break you down. It is an attack and the enemy studying to influence behavior. You can make it through this fire as well as the other devices that the enemy will use. The rain is a blessing for it is watering the seeds.

Keep pushing and be patient in affliction.

I have been going through it too. The enemy has been trying to divide the community and fellowship. I have been experiencing physical mental and emotional, sexual, spiritual and direct energy and frequency attacks from cell towers and other devices. The enemy’s plan is division of family and community, engineering mass shootings and mass discourse to discourage people from all that God has for them.

The fact is the enemy’s plan is psychological manipulation and demonic interrogation.

We have authority. The enemy has no power or authority over you. I have to be in touch with God and say that the enemy has no power and authority

Affliction is a tool to shape the believer. The more faith the less suffering. Suffering gives you an understanding of what God has for you.
