i’ve been playing “the last of us 2” as one of my friends watches.
i had so many question about the last season of the show,
“the last of us“.
the first game came with my ps4 and i loved it.
when the sequel came out…

…i was pretty excited but BOY,
where the opinions i started hearing about it were bleak.

When I asked other I know about it,
they told me how terrible it was because of how they handed Joel.

whew.
i actually got my “a-ha” moment with that sentence above.
so I didn’t play it off of what I was hearing but not only that:

We have to play as a character named Abby that gave Joel his fate for his actions.

don’t even get me started on the alleged transphobia in regards this vixen.
i think it’s because you have to play as her afetr what happened and people were upset.
that was the big “fuck this game” because of what happened to joel.
interestingly enough,
as i’ve learned abby’s backstory while playing,
i’m going on record to font that as much as Joel was my Zaddy…

I reallllllllllllllly want to go to this Brandy and Monica concert.
My millennial heart is bursting with FOMO.
My current budget isn’t allowing me to be great.

as a millennial,
i was there when kelly rowland launched her solo career.
“dilemma” with nelly is one of my fav songs and i was excited for her album to drop.

Who told her to release “STOLE” as her first single?

that entire debut album rollout was tragic.
i’m still annoyed “haven’t told you” wasn’t even a promo single.
her second album,
“ms kelly“,
was a much better single wise but of course…

bey to help push it.
atm,
many of us were shaking our heads at her movement during that time.
it didn’t help they were always asking her about be during her album drops.
she always had good songs on her albums but it was like they were sabotaging her.
so when i saw she is opening for brandy and monica on their tour,
i saw people upset that she is their opening act…

over the weekend,
i was hanging out with my wolf friend and he said:

“Damn,
that vixen you don’t fuck with anymore mother passed away.”

we are mutuals with this particular vixen.
his response to my response was the legit surprised pikachu face…

we see males ignoring the allegations but as we can see:

its interesting because this weekend,
i saw discussions of an attentionisto with new gay rumors starting to bloom…

you know what i’m starting to learn?

When a attentionisto is advertising his nice fat tail,
more than likely,
he is inching closer to having something in it.

i know.
it took me a long time.
don’t judge me.
now outside of rihanna’s social media,
some males love their nice fat butts as much as they love their nice fat:

Biceps
Pecs
Feets
Dacks

it happens to all of us tbh.
people told us about our nice fat ______ and we used it/its to get sex.

that can be a whole different story.

What if masculinity wasn’t what we were taught to admire?
What if it was something quieter,
steadier,
and far more powerful?

when someone loves us for who we are,
not for our highlight reels,

and not for who they want us to be but:

the one that has the demons and the insecurities.

i used to believe masculinity lived in the gym.
it was big biceps,
played sports,
and an intimidating stare.
some males,
sure,
but i’ve learned:

Just because someone looks like a man,
that doesn’t mean they act like one.

muscles don’t equal depth; a scowl doesn’t make you safe.
masculinity is not a role we play,
a script we memorize,
or photos we post.
it’s how we show up for ourselves and our loved ones,
especially when no one’s watching.
