are real ass whores are not selling?

i saw that city girls came out with a new album the other day.
raw which i read allegedly meant “real ass whores”.
i can’t confirm or deny but its pretty on-brand for them.
i didn’t even need to get a review of the content to know.

“My vagina is top tier.”
“My vagina got your man.”
“My vagina gets money.”
“My vagina twerks for your man and gets his money.”

same ol; same ol in coochie music.
i guess you all had the same feelings cause…

These real ass whores sold around 6k to 8k copies in the first week.

i mean being and seeing a real ass whore in action is trendy so…
everyone on onlyfans is a real ass whore at this point.
juicy j
made a public message the other day about hip-hop being down.
he wants to organize a state of emergency within the culture:

my thoughts:

Most of mainstream hip-hop has gotten pretty terrible these last few years.
I think many artists are too far removed from society too.

it’s like social media has seriously wounded hip-hop.
we got randoms who have no talent taking center stage.
their real ass whores who they breed becoming “stars” off semen.
and got the nerve to be having an attitude too.
like hoe,
you are only a d-list celebrity because you didn’t swallow.
chill tf out.

it’s bizarro world out here.

most artists these days aren’t reading the room.
when we look back at other generations,
the music fit the times they were living in.
during those dark times or war and poverty,
the music had a vibe so the audience could escape.
i know she isn’t hip-hop,
but how come bey understood the assignment with renaissance?
i don’t get it.
i like ratchet music but i’m tapped.

I was JUST telling someone that late 90s-early 00s hip-hop videos had a different vibe.

i haven’t seen a video that looked/felt like these in quite some time:

maybe bongos had the “look” but that song kinda flopped hard.
that song is “summery” and we are headed into fall.
i don’t know what they were doing.

we are missing more “graduation” or a “under construction“.
i feel like kendrick and tyler got it right with their last releases.
j. cole is another who comes out swinging.
big sean,
maybe?
doja?

even though we have always had braggadocios hip-hop,
i remember how hood pineapples use to vibe to this:

artists are in villain eras nowadays and still miserable.
50 was a villain when he came out and his villainous music felt good:

so much so,
 beyonce did a remix:

^this type of shit made us want to go the club to get away from it all.
do they even do club songs anymore?
a majority of the songs are short with no bridge attached for tiktok.
hip-hop feels dark and uninspired.
even when kim,
foxy,
and trina were out here being real ass whores,
they were giving us raunchy but switching it up on their albums.

So yeah,
a majority of hip-hop sucks and folks are looking for music that is more honest.
These folks are going to figure it out soon tho.

i’m keeping my fingers crossed.

lowkey: even tho i love drake but he is miserable and uninspired.
i will font he is trying to be honest with emotions in his music.
