Caldwell spoke about his viral video in a new interview with NBC 12 and he explained that he never wanted to be an Internet star.
“I was serious,” Caldwell said. “I did not want to go viral. I did not expect that to go viral. I did not want to get up there and just say anything and look crazy in front of thousands of people.”
“They think that they can preach the homosexuals away in the Church of God in Christ,” said Caldwell. “And you can’t.”
When asked if he really has become heterosexual, Caldwell responded “no.”
“That’s not the case…I still have desires,” he said.
On having regrets about the video
“I do hold regrets. Because my life has been in danger.”
On his recent attack and becoming a target for hate crimes
“That video caused a lot to me … mentally and physically. I feel that, if I was delivered, God should deliver me more. But I know it takes a process. But I think it is going a little bit slow. I want God to work on my mannerisms. I want God to stop the switching … talking like a woman.”
On his unrelenting desire to be straight
“Continue to pray for me. Because I am going through a lot each and every day.”

With practice he will be able to change the way he walks and talks but he won’t be able to change his sexual orientation. And as for working out for the ladies–FOR GET IT! (Well, maybe he can get a woman pregnant and have a baby like the woman that mated with the obviously gay guy who gained Internet fame and who now says that he’s no longer gay. He should consider quitting the Church of God in Christ if it won’t accept him the way God made him.
What a fucking mess
Clearly he was caught up in the moment, I guess the message, the organ, tambourines, and the energy doing the convention got the best of him and he really didnt think this plan all the way through. I smell bullshit when he says he did not want this to go viral, his constant social media outburst say otherwise, he craves attention and the spotlight. It will only be a matter of time before he finds a sanctified Kim Kardashian in the church who loves the spotlight and wants to be in with him to proclaim him DELIVERT! We havent heard the last of him and his antics.
When I first saw his church video I thought that he was mentally ill. I still think he’s a whole burger short of a happy meal. MY heart goes for people who feel guilt about being gay. It literally hurts for me to watch things like that.
