When You Have Homework With Your “Avengers: Infinity War”

can we talk about how i didn’t realize “dr strange” and “guardians of the galaxy” were in the marvel family?
can we talk about how i’ve literally forgotten most of the plot of “the avengers”?
like,
i don’t even know why they’re going to war.
ugh.
well the released the 2nd trailer to “avengers: infinity war” today and…

…and i was overcome with emotion.
i silently weeped at work because i was in my happy feels.
they said they’re going to be allegedly killing off some major characters.
i’m scared it’s gonna be:

i love those two,
especially captain america’s pectoral area.
if i want to be up to date,
i apparently have to watch all the past films in this order:

  1. Iron Man
  2. The Incredible Hulk
  3. Iron Man 2
  4. Thor
  5. Captain America The 1st Avenger
  6. The Avengers
  7. Iron Man 3
  8. Thor: The Dark World
  9. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
  10. Guardians of the Galaxy
  11. Avengers Age of Ultron
  12. Ant Man
  13. Captain America: Civil War
  14. Doctor Strange
  15. Guardians of the Galaxy 2
  16. Spider-Man Homecoming
  17. Thor Ragnarok
  18. Black Panther

some i remember; others i don’t.
i do remember thanos poppin’ after one of them tho.

i’ll have to get it together by april 27th when “avengers: infinity war” is released.

lowkey: i’m not really interested in guardians of the galaxy,
ant man,
and doctor strange tho.
the first thor was boring af.
ugh.

  1. Thank for you sharing! I loved Avengers:Infinity War so much, its such a great movie! I got the insane opportunity to go to the World Premiere on the 23rd. I was just in front of Tom Holland during the screening at the Dolby Theater, he was with his brothers and they were all so sweet! I got to talk to members of the cast and they were all incredibly nice! I wrote two posts on my blog about it (one about the premiere and another one about after party) if you’d like the check it out!

  2. Out of all them I’ve had some involvement with like 3. Spiderman Homecoming I was in the indian scene. Was on set of Black Panther for the opening scene with kids playing basketball. And was booked 12 days on Avengers Infinity War. Jamari you say you thinking about moving try Atlanta. Don’t miss out. The film industry in Atlanta is booming. So far we’ve made over 9 BILLION dollars. Plus Atlanta is way cheaper than New York. This just where you should be. You know the saying. The A is where it’s At!

  3. I’ll be surprised if they kill off anyone. Y’all know how Disney/Marvel is about death.

  4. I disagree, I loved spiderman and dr strange was cool, but you can probably skip them. Honestly I’ve seen all of these movies and I’d say the bottom half is most important. All of the Avengers, Civil War and Guardians of the Galaxy will be important to understand what’s going on. Only Thor movie that matters is the last one. You already saw Black Panther so just get caught up with avengers and guardians and you should be good. I’m so excited for this, but not as excited as I am for Deadpool 2.

  5. A friend of mine told me that there are theaters that are showing all 18 movies starting the 25th of April so that people will be all caught up.

    That would be a challenge.

  6. watch 3, 6, 8, 11 and 18…youll be fine. Dr strange was the worst movie and Spider-Man homecoming was worst than that

  7. I’m excited just to see them all interact but yeah a good chunk of the marvel films especially when they first started were low-key boring (although iron man was pretty good)

You do have to see most of them, Ant-man was surprising (btw paul rudd is still fine so that’s that on that), dr. strange was boring and so are the gotg (guardians I say you can skip it and low-key know what’s going on)

  8. In other comic book movie news, Ava Duverney will be directing The New God’s for DC. A black woman will be handed a multi million dollar budget for a comic book movie. I’m hyped.

    1. I’m not. If she doesn’t know the characters/material…leave it alone, PLEASE.
      Color of director be damned!

      1. Might as well get ready. With the success of Black Panther, these studios are going to be searching the dark corners of the comic book world for black characters they can capitalize on lol.

I personally think you have to be comic book nerd to direct a successful movie based on a comic book character.

      2. @NOacid…Ok. Sounds like she may have watched a few episodes of the JL cartoon. LOL

I’m gonna agree with Jay on this one. You have to be a big comic book nerd/geek to direct these kinds of films dealing with comic book characters.

      1. This selection of her reeks of following in the footsteps of Marvel again.
At least the director of Black Panther was a geek, so to speak. He knew about the characters and comic books, does Ava?

I’m hesitant because I don’t like when they have people that aren’t knowledgeable about the material writing, producing, or directing.

Ya’ll have seen what we’ve had so far in terms people in charge not knowing their properties. New gods can give us the “intro” to Darkseid, and then he can finally make his way to other films, even the Superman sequel. But he has to be done right! Not like Steppenwolf!!

    2. She really messed up when it came to a wrinkle in time. You might wanna hold your hype a bit.

  9. What’s sad is out of 18 movies, only 3 of them were REALLY any good.

In order of release, Iron Man, Captain America Winter Soldier, and Black Panther.

Avengers was an ok culmination of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and Hulk coming together, but over repeated watchings…it doesn’t hold up. That’s just me though.

      1. LMAO. Thanos, dude on the throne at the end of the first Avengers film, is after the Infinity stones, which will make him all-powerful.

There are six, if I remember correctly. Space, Mind, Soul, Time, Reality, Power.

There’s one on Asgard. One in Loki’s staff he uses. One in Vision’s forehead.
One with the Colllector (from Guardian of the Galaxy) and I believe Thanos possesses the others. So he’s after the rest.
