The Facial That Made My Pimples Vanish

my face for the last two weeks was looking like:
i don’t know what happened,
but i had broken out real crazy.
i did everything i could think of to get rid of them,
but i had no luck at all on clearing up the disaster in my face.
the worst part is they were taking forever to clear up.
well i had this one facial in my stash i didn’t use yet.
i bought it like a month or two ago.
my face cleared up pretty quick.
3 days kind of quick…

l’oreal “detox and brighten charcoal” clay mask

remember i was in the market for a good charcoal mask?
well i might have found it.
what attracted me to try the product was the word “detox”.
so i did it tuesday,
and by friday,
my pimples were pretty much gone.
when i got a haircut yesterday,
my skin was looking how it was before this drama all started.
i give it 4 out of 5 foxhole vanity points.

l’oreal “detox and brighten” charcoal clay mask: 13.00
read more about it: l’oreal

i always give myself a facial twice a week since i have really oily skin.
wednesdays and over the weekend.
i’ll use one to exfoliate dead skin and the other to brighten.
i swear by the “aztec secret indian clay mask”,
but i’ll switch it out and use the l’oreal one.
a vixen friend of mine got me this:

…and it has been the holy grail on my skin.
oooooooooh.
i can’t even begin to font how much skinceuticals helped my skin.
ill get into skinceuticals soon.

low-key: i wasn’t gonna see the wolf yesterday if i had pimples.
i wanted him to see me at my best.

*what worked for me,
may not work for you.
try everything i use at your own risk!

  1. I’m so with you on the skin thing, I’ve been going to a dermatologist since January and my skin has been a up and down battle. It gets sorta clear then it wants to come back. Super frustrating !!!!!

I’ve been taking the antibiotics and using the stuff she prescribed, and for the past month I decided to cut dairy from my diet to see if helps.

I’ve seen this L’Oréal mask in store along with two other ones from the same brand, might have to cop it.

P.S. I’ve heard nothing but great things about skinceuticals products.

  2. I might have to try this. I’ve been testing the Shea Moisture Black Clay Purifying Mask during the early part of the year and it was going well until I ran out. I will give this a try as well since it’s cheaper than the Shea Moisture.
