…especially when it comes to some alleged scumbag.
if that was the case,
jay and robert smith wouldn’t be rich.
ryan coogler and tyler perry would be nothing,
while denzel and mjb wouldn’t be the best actors of our generation.
the list of successful black males is a long one if you choose to google it.
the same 50,
who happens to be the topic of this entry,
would not have successful shows on starz atm.
the real phrase needs to be:

“black jackals and hyenas who are doing/did fucked up shit to other people are being called to judgement.”

…or in kat williams speak in 2024,
“all lies will be exposed“.
with “sean combs: the reckoning” by 50 on netflix,
two black males in the industry are calling him out for it…

a hermit crab knows when its shell has stopped being a home.

it leaving its shell is often a sign of a stressful event or poor living conditions. the walls that once protected start to press in, the space that once felt safe becomes too small, too loud, and too heavy. so it does the unthinkable: it steps out. alone, exposed, unsure… but certain that staying cramped is worse than facing open water.

although i discovered a few things about myself…

i had my housing meeting this morning about my apartment.
another chapter in this long running saga since october.
it has been stress and anxiety since then.
i woke up early,
sat across from the board,
along with my landlord across from me.
after over 15 years in the same walls,
the verdict landed with perfect holiday timing…

i did something yesterday that is still sitting with me.
for the life of me,
i don’t know WHY i did it but it happened…

wow.
just wow.

so i watched the 50 doc on diddy last night,
“sean combs: the reckoning“,
and again: wow.
this is a very well put together docuseries.
it’s not a full drag sesh in what we thought 50 would do,
but it is very informative in how this pokémon got into it’s final form.
off top,
i blame 3 things…

for all of us who watched “scandal”,
“house of cards”,
and “the 2024 election”,
we know how cutthroat politics can be.
with this following story,
i don’t know if i should be on the side of justice or “all heros don’t wear capes”.
