Dylann Roof Will Be Leaving Jail Soon

well i didn’t see this coming.
so remember this supreme jackal by the name of dylann roof?
he is the one who murdered everyone after bible study in charlseton, south carolina.
his motive was to start a race war.
( x see it here )
it was a such a disgusting story.
well he learned his fate today and well…

Just a few hours after he told a crowded courtroom, “I still feel like I had to do it,” Dylann Roof was sentenced to death by a federal jury Tuesday for carrying out the mass shooting inside Charleston’s Emanuel AME Church in a bid to spark a race war.

The 12-member panel – three black jurors, nine white – deliberated for a little less than three hours before unanimously deciding  the 22-year-old self-avowed white supremacist should die for his crimes rather than spend his life in prison without the possibility of parole.

U.S. District Judge Richard Gergel has scheduled a hearing for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to formally impose that sentence and hear from loved ones who wish to address the killer.

Roof, who sat stone-faced and silent through most of his hate crimes trial, showed no emotion as the jury’s verdict was read. During his closing argument earlier in the day, he passed on the chance to argue for his life, saying “I’m not sure what good that will do anyway.”

He was reported as saying in the courtroom:

“He said it’s ‘absolutely true’ that he chose to represent himself so that his lawyers would not present evidence of mental illness.

” ‘The point is I’m not going to lie to you,’ Roof said. ‘There’s nothing wrong with me psychologically.’ “

” ‘Anyone, including the prosecution, who thinks I am filled with hate has no idea what real hate is,’ Roof said, speaking to jurors from a podium about eight feet from the jury box during his closing argument. ‘They don’t know anything about hate.’ …

” ‘They don’t know what real real hatred looks like,’ [Roof said]. ‘They think they do, but they don’t really.’ …

” ‘I think it’s safe to say that someone in their right mind wouldn’t go into a church and kill people,’ he said. ‘You might remember in my confession to the FBI I told them I had to do it. Obviously, that isn’t true because I didn’t have to do it. I didn’t have to do anything. But what I meant when I said that was I felt like I had to do that.’ …

” ‘Wouldn’t it be fair to say that the prosecution hates me since they are the ones trying to give me the death penalty?’ he said. ‘You could say, “Of course they hate you. Everyone hates you. They have good reason to hate you.” I’m not denying that. My point is that anyone who hates anything, in their mind, has a good reason.’ “

The decision capped an anxious month and a half in Charleston as families of the dead and the community at large waited to see how justice would be delivered in a case that shook the city to its core. The same jury that voted for death found Roof guilty in December of 33 federal offenses stemming from the mass shooting.

Praise for their work was swift in coming Tuesday from several quarters.

usually they keep them alive and kill “us”.
good to see a change in justice.
now what happened to that one who shot up the movie theater?
and the class room?
it’s like they just vanished into thin air.

  1. He will probably be on death row for decades after all the appeals. There are three guys on S.Carolina’s death row that have been there since the 1980’s.NYT said there is no certainty that he will ever be executed because of the appeals and the lack of lethal injection drugs.

  2. His death won’t be as painful as his victims and he will live at least 10 more years what poor excuse the media won’t say it but I will he is absolutely a thug/goon.

    1. Did you get a chance to read the statements he made last week about he was not sorry about what he did and that he shed a tear for the white people he let down?

  3. The death penalty is too good for him. We all die but we all don’t get the “privilege” of wasting away in a cell for decades. I think that life without possibility of parole is a worse sentence than the death penalty.

If you wouldn't say it on live TV with all your family and friends watching, without getting canceled or locked up, don't say it on here. Stay on topic, no SPAM, and keep it respectful. Thanks!
