one of my really good friends had a huge career come-up over the weekend.
i’m beyond proud of her but here’s the kicker:

People who did her wrong or ignored her are suddenly flooding her DMs.
Heavy.

it’s left her feeling overwhelmed and we don’t often realize this about fame:

When all eyes are on you,
it can feel like you’re completely exposed,
naked in the spotlight.

i was talking to a straight wolf and i asked:

“Lemme ask you something.
Let’s say you after you finally made it,
would you sleep with those who did you wrong or ignored you for revenge?”

his answer?…

i learned a long time ago that in any business,
it is best to make sure you get a contract for any services rendered.
when we get jobs,
we sign contracts for them and ourselves.
anyone can say they’ll do something but once its in writing,
you have started a paper trail.
the male of many talents,
mustang,
seemed to have learned very quickly about contracts with certain promoters.
he had to call the feds on promoter,
darryl wilson…

…for allegedly scamming him.
a Foxholer sent in what mustang had to font…

Foxholer,
i’d ride the bus with you or at least go half for on uber.
one day,
you and i will rise tho.
we’ll turn in that beat-up limo into our lambo to stardom,
cruising straight to our dreams.
funny thing is,
the folks who never gave us a second glance will suddenly be our best friends.
our DMS will go from dry to “yooooooo i see you!“.
those guys who curved us will finally put us on their “to do” list heavy.
do we indulge…

…or do we say “fuck you” and not in the way we wanted before?
i had to wonder…

Why is it that success makes everyone else so fake?

i’ve always believed in preparing for your come-up.
you never know when it’ll happen because it could happen tomorrow.
there’s one thing i need you to do for me…

I couldn’t help but wonder:
Why do we crave acceptance so bad from the obviously wrong people?

when we desperately need someone(s) and they sense that,
they’ll use it to control us.
they’ll push you to see just how far up their ass you’re willing to go.
for some,
the entrance while others look for a home in their colon.
a jackal from my past has a grudge against me…

everyone cheered when they heard this white she-jackal was fired from her job.
she is the one who went viral for using the “n” word,
while cooking something i’m sure was only seasoned with salt and pepper,
and looking like what harrison butkler was talking about in his speech.
for those who missed it:

she didn’t even care at all.
she boldly said “a certain community“.
i heard through the forests she allegedly worked at a black company.
