there are gonna be future generations watching the 20s and shaking their heads too.

music for the drug addicted and suicidal?

there was a time when we watched america’s next top model as pure entertainment.
we laughed.
we quoted it.
we argued about winners like it was the super bowl.
so many iconic memes and gifs came from that show like:

we didn’t question the cruelty because we were focused on being entertained.
did we really believe those vixens would become top models?
we sure did,
the same way we believed other shows would create idols,
survivors,
and millionaires.
watching “reality check: inside america’s next top model” on netflix felt like…

i’ll admit that my ears are not trained for bad singing unless it obvious.
i go with how music makes me feel about 98% of the time.

so there are some singing that i like,
even if the live performance is terrible for others.

brandy has had a weird comeback recently.
from the tour issues in the beginning,
to whatever she had going on with beyonce backstage,
and don’t even get me started on that brother of hers.

i read the book,
“box hill” by adam mars-jones,
and ended up hating that experience.
so when i watched the movie from the comfort of the temporary home,
i instantly noticed the differences.
