I don’t mind if some males are DL.

i’m not fonting about those who expel hatred,
all while being full participants between certain hours.

they beez the whole trash.
let me explain…

as we all know that it’s scary out here.
many of us have done the work it takes to come out or accept ourselves,
but my beef is some forgot what it was like when we were finding ourselves.
we are asking certain males,
who have lived their lives in one particular comfort zone,
especially in hateful environments as kids,
to jump out of the closet because many want them to be.

I hate to font you that it doesn’t work like that.

not only that,
many of us are on the DL about something in our lives.
there is some level of self-deception that some of us live with every day,
especially with how we live on the dl on social media.

Many of us are on the DL about our unhappiness
Many of us are on the DL about our true characters
Many of us are on the DL about our finances and the lifestyles we promote
Many of us are on the DL about how we really got our nice bodies
Many of us are on the DL about the hatred we have for other black people
Many of us are on the DL about who we truly support or vote for
Many of us are on the DL about problematic things/people we enjoy
Many of us are on the DL about hiding anonymously while being bullies
Many of us are on the DL about stalking our exes or crushes on social
Many of us are on the DL about cheating on our partners
Many of us are on the DL about being legit monsters to society

…and some of us would die if those things were outed.

we all live in the shadows about something.
that is why i’m “eh” about a male being dl.
many of us aren’t honest about our own lives for the sake of acceptance…

We shouldn’t be judging DL males who are doing the same.

as long as they’re not out here tradin’ diseases like pokemon cards,
or hating on other gays cause they ain’t happy on the inside,
they can do whatever they want.
