      1. Watch this closely. Black folks by in large paid little attention to this story. It was just another in the many we consume daily. But if race gets involved watch #BlackTwitter erupt with their usual selective outrage and claims of racism. Just pay attention, I hope I’m wrong.

      2. Oh wow, this is a new development…I gotta eat crow now, cause I jus KNEW it was the “others” and how they let their children wander and pay no mind…I stand corrected.

  1. Michelle Gregg, 32, has four children by Deonne Dickerson, 36, a man who, Daily Mail Online can disclose, has a lengthy criminal history. Criminal filings against Dickerson stretch over a decade and include burglary, firearms offences, drug trafficking, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and kidnap. In 2006 he was sentenced to one year behind bars for a drug trafficking conviction.

    1. What does his father have to do with the gorilla being killed? I am sorry but my heart is no allowing me to feel any sympathy for that gorilla and are all the people that are causing an uproar over this gorilla a vegetarian? I doubt it, and do they feel sympathy for the animals that they digest? I doubt it, this story is nothing to see people and we can move on to something else (By uproar with is being exaggerated (only 2000 people had an issue out of over 300 million Americans). The great thing is that the child survived. Also, we were not there and are not in this gorilla mind to know what the outcome may have been. Also, you can go on Youtube and see some videos of gorillas attacks and killing.

      1. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Nothing at all, the media is looking for any and every way to slander the family’s name for attention. Most of the media is neglecting to mention she was by herself with 4 kids.

I can’t support punishing a mother because she did something nice for her kids by herself and one slipped out, that’s harsh.

  2. On CBS Evening News they interviewed a witness who said this boy kept saying I want to go down there and the mother kept saying no you are not going down there. So he was determined to go down there where the gorilla was.I believe if the mother wasn’t alone with four kids(including a baby she was holding),this may have been prevented. She wasn’t able to watch all those kids, especially a boy who was laser focused on getting close to gorilla.I don’t agree with blaming the zoo for him being able to climb through the railing. In 37 years this is the first time somebody did that. It’s unfortunate the gorilla died because his little ass wanted to play with the gorilla.

  3. I saw a short video clip and it looked to me like the gorilla was trying to protect the kid. He pulled him close and stood over him….but then the clip ended.

    1. ^i read the screaming over the balcony was what was starting to make him mad.
maybe harambe went into protection mode for the cub?
