taraji p. henson gives a 1 out of 10 rating for keith lee too

when you reach a certain level of fame,
no matter who you are or what you do,
you need a team of pros to guide you.
if keith lee had a savvy publicist,
this BET awards mess would’ve been a breeze.
i’m glad taraji fired back at keith lee with her own bad review of him…

i agree with her.
he tried to clean it up but he knows he was being dramatic.
for someone waiting for his “moment”,
he sure is getting the spotlight he craves.

..and even if he had the right seat,
blunders happen.
it’s a live show,
after all.
she didn’t need to apologize at the end but she acknowledged.
font about a red flag waving in the wind for him.
ETA: is this red flag #2?

was keith’s mask being held together with scotch tape?

lowkey: if it was me,
i would have laughed it off and took my rose.
if i really wanted to be a karen and i was THAT pressed,
i would have been texting my team to fix my embarrassment QUICK.

  1. I think Keith Lee has done great things with his platform, he uses his platform in a very responsible and respectable way. I believe he uses his following to promote up-and-coming restaurants and doesn’t expect or receive any kickbacks in return, and that’s dope. In today’s society of being corrupt and ratchet, being responsible and respectable will put a target on your back.

I like Taraji P Henson, but here’s the thing, Keith Lee is not a real celebrity. Taraji is an A-List celebrity from Emmy-nominated major network TV all the way to Oscar-nominated films, she had no clue as to who Keith Lee was.

The reality is this whole situation just highlights the real problem with the BET awards, real black celebrity is a dying breed. Social media influencers are not stars, they can’t carry big productions in entertainment and everything that they do is flopping and we just need to get real about it. The only person that I’m aware of who went from social media to a huge somewhat bankable star is Issa Rae with “ Insecure”. I like Jess Hilarious but she’s flopping over there at the Breakfast Club, all of those shows with social media influencers that they made for BET+ all got canceled. The torch never got passed so now everyone is rushing to see a 50+-year-old Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in Bad Boys 3 or a 63-year-old Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop 4.

If you wouldn't say it on live TV with all your family and friends watching, without getting canceled or locked up, don't say it on here. Stay on topic, no SPAM, and keep it respectful. Thanks!
