when you stress about an outcome,
or give it more than it needs,
it can really have you slowly lose your mind.
when you are trying so hard to figure out the next game plan,
you don’t realize you’re slowly burning yourself out.
that’s what leads to depression and anxiety.
youstart feeling tired af all the time.
your interest in things you once liked/loved slowly starts to diminish,
everyone else looks like they’re “living the good life”,
and that’s when the “i’m worthless” thoughts start to set up shop.

most folks don’t ever talk about their “in between” phase.
you ever notice that?
the “in-between” is like the points on a “12 inch ruler.

you can think of those as the times in between the grind.
it’s from when you got into struggle and when you got out.

it was a time when it either made them bitter or better.
we are so use to seeing the after tho.
the “buying gucci” and “being able to eat at stk”.

i will never forget being a cub and going out with my father one day.
i had to be about 8 or 9.
i was very shy growing up.
i literally only spoke when spoken too.
my father brought me to show me off to one of his friends.
it was some older males and one older vixen.
i remember i was sitting in the front seat of his car.
i was literally just sitting there.
this older male looks at me and says:
