She, imo, embodied the role perfectly after Eartha Kitt.
I remember being young seeing Batman Returns,
but I always remembered Michelle as femme fatale, Selina Kyle.

Anne Hathaway ends up dominating every role she’s ever done. Her role as Catwoman will be no different, I’m sure.

She’s not dark and brooding enough, imo. But the same coud’ve been said for Michelle before she became Catwoman, I guess. I personally think a better choice would’ve been Angelina Jolie.
I think they wanted a wild card and that’s why the chose her. I trust Chis Nolan since his previous Batman movies have been amazing. They seem to be doing something different for the character of catwoman other than the run of the mill sexy woman in a sexy costume that makes feline noises”. Looks like she is going to be more or less the good guy since the other female is playing a villain.
