At this time I must confirm my exit from a show I’ve called home for 3 years, with what is the most talented ensemble on television today. I would like to first thank [creator] Shonda Rhimes for the opportunity to work with such an amazing cast. Thank you GLADIATORS, who have supported me throughout my entire career and of course to ABC and Shondaland for allowing me to play such a pivotal role in the Scandal series. I have enjoyed every single minute of it. Everything must come to an end and unfortunately the time has come for Harrison Wright to exit the canvas. I wish nothing but the best for Shonda, Kerry and the rest of the cast, who have become like a second family to me in such a short amount of time. For this, I will forever be grateful.”

His behavior surprised me too. I had a crush on him ever since Stomp the Yard. He seemed so articulate. I thought the same thing about Lee Thompson Young and look what he did to himself.

He will never ever make it in the entertainment business again. Not even marrying a snow bunny will fix this.
Yes, his publicist tries to clean it up with the statement above. We have seen so many statements like that in the past. Such statements are to put a good spin on the situation and the publicists that write them must have such :”form” statements in a form book. LOL
He seems to have been let go for scandals off the set and for not much work on the set. His character Harrison didn’t have many scenes/lines this past season. I wonder if the series producers need a replacement character or characters for Harrison,. It appears that his character will be killed off (has been killed off) and that another actor will not take the role.
It seems that Columbus Short likely messed up a nice paying job. Will he find a nice paying gig or will he go into oblivion? Time will tell. Goodbye Columbus. (To those who don’t realize, “Goodbye Columbus” is the name of a move that came out in the 60s or 70s. And that’s my pun for the day.)
I won’t bite my tongue. I ain’t scared of his ass lol. I thought he was a good man, at least that was how he displayed himself. However, I have to keep this in mind, everyone has a public image and a private image, including myself.
I know he will miss that check too.
