antoine dodson is still making his rounds as a z-list internet persona.
this time, he has the same internet going crazy over his opinion on eating at chick-fil-a.
being that i never had chick-fil-a, i don’t know what he is talking about.
from what i read, they are not supportive of gay marriage.
aren’t they a christian based food chain?
common sense would tell me they would have something negative to say.
anyway, check his youtube video below…
[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUmoTOujJ7Q]
he sure tole ya’ll…
check this write up on christian post about it…
Antonie Dodson, the openly gay internet celebrity famous for his tirade on the news in 2010, defended Chick-Fil-A’s support for traditional marriage, saying he would still eat there if he so chose. For the actor, Chick-Fil-A COO Dan Cathy’s decision to make his company a Christian one doesn’t warrant a protest of their restaurant.
Antoine Dodson’s Chick-Fil-A YouTube video was made in response to controversy surrounding the company, as gay activists and the mayor of Boston lambasted the company for upholding the Christian faith first.
“Just let me tell you this: I have uncles and aunties as well that does not approve of gay marriages and stuff like that, but they respect me. I don’t care about one person’s opinion … and that’s fine,” Dodson began.
“Chick-Fil-A makes good meals … so no one is gonna stop me from eating there,” the singer continued, citing several gay advocates who advised him to boycott the company. “If I want to have a Chick-Fil-A sandwich, guess what? I’m gonna have a Chick-Fil-A sandwich. It doesn’t matter what a person thinks.”
all over the dc/md/va area.
But really, who is still checking for Antoine Dodson, though? Show of hands?
The mass majority have moved on just like they will with this Chick-Fil A issue.
Fuck Chik Fil A and this hood rat bastard.
In that order!
I can count on one hand how many times I have eaten at Chick-Fil-A since I been back in Atlanta. I don’t eat there just because I never have a taste for it. I do love their nuggets and shakes though.
With all that said, my money is not going to Chick-Fil-A.
I don’t have a problem with people boycotting Chick-Fil-A but my issue is this aggressive gay mafia. I am gay and proud, but I do know that there are people who won’t support my sexual preference. You can’t force people to change their opinions and beliefs. After all this IS American right? We knew damn well that Chick-Fil-A was a christian based family resturant so what did you really expect?
This shit is just something to bitch about. Next week, nobody is going to give a damn.
It’s really simple. If you don’t support Chick-Fil-A’s stances on gay marriage, DON’T EAT THERE. We should start our own businesses anyway. Fuck Chick-fil-a and the anti-gay organizations they support.
As for Antonie Dotson, I ain’t mad at him. If there are a group of people who still get into him, good for him! God bless him.
America*
Um yeah, I loved Chic-Fil-A, it was my favorite fast food joint…but no! I can understand if the owner had his own disagreements about homosexuality, and gay marriage but to actually endorse anti-gay organizations? Shit to me that’s like a someone saying the want to use a portion of my five dollars that I bought a product from them to help support the KKK. I really don’t understand any black gay man who loves him-self to say ” i would support Chic-Fil-A if they were anti-gay, but not anti-black…” Like 1+1= 2 right? I feel like any minority group should stick together for something like this because if they (white hetero-sexuals mainly) feel like they can marginalize one group, whats the fear of them wanting to marginalize another? And why are so many black people so gun ho about supporting freedom of speech and beliefs of, hate and ignorance ( you know because saying you don’t like a group because of their race , gender, sexuality, socio-economic status, disabilities, etc and want to oppress their rights is ignorant and hateful), like they have white privilege themselves. Some of yall need to read books by authors of marginalized groups and greater understanding, because your thinking is so limited and eurocentric it scares me.
He’s free to speak his mind, just as people are free to support/not support Chick Fil-A based in their policies/beliefs. I’m pretty sure they have plenty of LGBT employees though…
Yeah, I’ll be damned if I stop eating there. Not big on marriage and I’m indifferent to gay marriage.
So gays can continue to give me the side eye as I get Chic-Fil-A on my lunch break.
Are you feeding me? Oh okay…
The owner is entitled to his opinion and can technically do whatever he wants with his profits. If you want to protest that’s a personal choice, but everyone else doesn’t have to.
Oh, and YES I would protest if they donated to organizations that were “anti-black”.
Chic-Fil-A restaurants are strategically placed in certain areas anyway, at least in my city. I can’t tell people are protesting seeing as how the drive-thru is wrapped around the building into the street and you can barely walk around on the inside.
Antoine needs to loosen those braids — they are tugging at his brain.
The Chick Fil A owner can talk badly about LGBT persons all he wants. It’s a free country.
What he is doing is funnelling millions of dollars into anti-gay organizations.
So a few pennies of every spicy chicken sandwich and waffle meal Antoine is eating is going against his best interest.
Seeing how the Internet made him famous you would think he could do a simple Google search to get the facts.
I love Chick Fil A too but I”m not going to eat there until the policy changes.
