20 Million Views (I’m Not Crying; You’re Crying)

foxhole.
we reached the “20 million views” milestone today.
ironically,
on the week of star fox’s death anniversary.
even in death,
he is still my biggest supporter.
i’m absolutely amazed at how far we have come.
i started this blog after being rejected and look…
this isn’t just a win for me tho…

this is a win for US

yes.
you.
this is a huge victory for us.
without your consistent support,
the foxhole wouldn’t even be a thing.
another thing…
our white gay counterparts can start a blog and be at 1 million in a month.
they get tremendous support for just waking up in the morning.
“we” have to work ten times as hard to even be taken seriously.
all i ever wanted was to have a voice.
as a black gay male,
in the society we live in,
we often don’t get that opportunity.
i’m truly humbled by the support i get.
thank you all for rocking with me through:

joblessness
death
insecurities
suicide attempts
loneliness
supreme amounts of horniness

…and being able to be appreciated for being me,
even when i didn’t love me that day.
i’m glad we’re getting our shit together on this journey.
let’s go for another 20,
shall we?
this time,
let’s get in formation that the world can’t take us.

love you all,
jf

lowkey: can you believe we have seen so many attentionistos?
some are gone; others are still around.
it’s been truly a journey.

  1. I’m so proud of you Jamari of what you’ve managed to accomplish with your site! I can wait to see what’s in store for the next 20 million views!

  2. I guess youre gonna wait until we hit the 40 BILLION mark to show us your face, huh? JUST KIDDING. Anyway congratulations and I hope you know youre doing Gods Work with this website. Thank you for making me feel less alone. I remember I came across this site while I was looking for porn back in summer 2012. My first thought was of how open i thought the entries were. I also thought someone was spying on me because our experiences would mirror each other down to a TEE. Sometimes the honesty in the posts were so real I had to stop reading and gather myself. With all that being said thank you again for everything and you are very much appreciated

  3. Love this post, hugs to you Jamari. I can’t remember what I was googling back in January 2012, but I came across insidejamarifox.com I clicked on it and have been visiting daily since then. One weekend shortly after discovering the foxhole, I went back and read every single past entry. Jamari and the foxhole you’ll are fam to me. Congratulations Jamari.

    1. That’s interesting that you would mention that, I was Googling Frank Ocean back in 2012 when I came across this site.☺

      Congratulations on 20M views

  4. Huge congrats Jamari!!
That’s amazing. I found your site 3 years ago with your “We all want to be smashed by our fantisies” post and I kept coming back ever since. I go on it everyday and have saved some my favorite post. The stuff you cover not a lot of other gay blogs especially black ones cover. So refreshing. Keep it up. I hope some day you plan a foxhole meet up. That would be cool!

  5. Honestly not surprised You are one of the only blogs I go to right now. I try others occasionally but im consistently on here.

  6. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! May you have continued success with this blog and in life!!! Thanks for bringing information, laughter and community into the lives of your readers…
