i feel like life is about to be on some “the walking dead” shit.
we already got 125th and lex looking like they shooting a zombie takeover scene.
i mean having various colonies and segregated areas.
“Un-Vaccinated Not Welcome!”
“DIE BITCHES DIE”
…and those are on the t-shirts in the welcome packets.
i have many un-jabbed friends who are planning on leaving new yawk.
ever since they announced the mandates,
they have felt personally singled out by these new rules.
even though i got my first jab,
i don’t even blame them.
It isn’t fun when you’re treated like an outcast by society.
to get everyone on the same page,
this is where folks can’t go if they haven’t been jabbed.
it is called “key to nyc” pass,
which doesn’t make it sound too “nah nah nee boo boo”…
i told myself that i wasn’t gonna become “one of those people”.
someone who is looking down on friends because they choose not be get jabbed.
as someone who lost one of his best friends so suddenly,
i overly-care about the people i’ve labeled “friends”.
Not to be confused the assholes who have left my life because they were terrible friends.
the ones who shouldn’t even have friends because they fumble the bag consistently.
i’m referring to the genuine friends that are in my tribe.
i know we won’t agree on everything,
but i knew the “jabbed vs un-jabbed” life we are living would make us take sides.
so one of my best friends is anti-jabber.
she agrees with the conspiracies and all of that.
she sent me that she was at a rally over the covid mandates in new yawk.
they are banning the un-jabbed from gyms,
and concerts starting next week.
you know folks out here are angry…
for a while,
i was holding out on getting the jab.
i wasn’t an anti-jabbed civilian who never wanted to get it,
but i had a lot of questions that weren’t getting answered.
i was actually waiting for it to be fda approved.
even though i wasn’t jabbed,
i was on my p&qs.
Staying away from large crowds
“Don’t even look at me“
that was all good until new yawk dropped this bomb on the city…
