REST IN POWER, ANDRE LEON TALLEY
i’m laying here,
listening to a tank album,

rest in power rose nylund aka betty white
you know what foxhole?
when i feel something random in my spirit,
it is usually leading me to an answer.
all this week,
i have been thinking about betty white.
it started with me wondering how she was doing and led to me watching “rose nylund” videos.
that is her legendary character in “golden girls”.
this is legit the last one i watched:
my girl passed today.
she was the last standing from the golden quartet.
“golden girls” got me through the beginning of the panny.

i asked your family members to keep me posted about the service being streamed.
no one followed up and i didn’t get an answer when i called.
ill pay my respects to you on my platform and write the things i couldn’t say…

this weekend,
we lost virgil abloh due to his secret battle with cancer.
he trailblazed during his young life as a menswear designer for louis vuitton and his own brand,
off white.
he worked with everyone from jay z to ye.
he had MANY friends and admirers in the industry who are mourning his passing.
he was 41.
what i took from this passing is,
yes,
we need to appreciate those while they are still here but…

rip young dolph (escape your hood)
i’m not a hiphop fox all like that so i don’t know much about young dolph.
sadly,
i’m learning about him because he was killed today.
he was gunned down in his hometown of memphis while supporting a black business.
right before he was shot,
young dolph was picking up cookies for his mother at makedas cookies.
this was a video from a few days ago at the same cookie shop:
it’s admirable to want to support a business from his hood but the reality is…
