i really hate when shows decided to announce,
“we are ending!“,
and it feels like a mistake.
with “tell me lies” on hulu,
it felt like a mistake and they needed one more season to tie up loose ends.
how many shows don’t tie up loose ends before they end?
nothing worse than introducing new characters with wasted potential.

…but this isn’t a rant about series finales and new characters tho.
this is about evan from “tell me lies“,
played by branden cook,
and how ima miss that bawdy of his…

i have a friend who will never admit but i know.
i think we all know “that one friend/family member who didn’t vote or voted wrong”.
suddenly,
they are loud about all that is happening in the country right now.
i mean,
appalled!
…but we know.

so the alleged reason why “the indian lady with the cackle” wasn’t elected for president.
not a shocker but…

i’m gonna font a controversial hot take.
so over the weekend,
john davidson,
a guest with tourette’s who inspired “i swear,”
shouted the N-word during a BAFTAs segment featuring michael b. jordan and delroy lindo.

millennials are now getting the horrors of the behind-the-scenes shenanigans behind the shows we grew up watching.
what a time to be alive!
/s

there are gonna be future generations watching the 20s and shaking their heads too.
influencers?
this political climate?
music for the drug addicted and suicidal?

there was a time when we watched america’s next top model as pure entertainment.
we laughed.
we quoted it.
we argued about winners like it was the super bowl.
so many iconic memes and gifs came from that show like:

we didn’t question the cruelty because we were focused on being entertained.
did we really believe those vixens would become top models?
we sure did,
the same way we believed other shows would create idols,
survivors,
and millionaires.
watching “reality check: inside america’s next top model” on netflix felt like…

i cried over aaliyah.
i cried over micheal.
i cried over whitney.
i cried over eric “mcsteamy” dane.

ill be 110%:
i stopped watching “greys anatomy“ long before his character,
dr. mark “mcsteamy” sloan,
came into the picture.
i remember everyone was fiending over his character and i won’t hold you:

i only saw this infamous towel scene that set that season ablaze

…but i always thought he was fine.
he was ruggedly dark handsome to me,
which tend to be my weakness in wolves.
he was on “euphoria” as nate jacob’s equally villainous father.
“cal jacobs“,
but he was shortly diagnosed with ALS.

even though he was in a battle with that disease,
he filmed episodes of the new season of “euphoria” but unfortunately:

eric lost to his fight with ALS yesterday.

it took a year since he announced it for him to completely deteriorate.
i felt really sad about it when the news broke,
but this is what really destroyed me today.
it was a final video on “famous last words” on netflix.
he recorded to his family but he allowed us to see.
Foxhole…

when we move from chaos to much safer ground,
for many of us,
it can leave us still in “fight or flight” mode.
we start scanning for danger when nothing is happening.
it can actually make you feel really fuckin’ nuts.
that is how i’ve been lately…
