Our President Is Still Black, But Officially Gone
that was obama saying goodbye to his home of 8 years.
such a beautiful shot from pete souza.
so i was a mess today at work.
the office was also high on emotions.
everyone kept busy,
but there was that underlying sadness in the air.
even though i didn’t agree with a lot of the things he did,

everything was all over the place.
that seemed to be the theme of my current life.
MESSY
i folded all the clothes in the big ass bag of laundry to my left.
i also organized and put stuff away to my right.
as i did it,
i felt the energy freeing up in my space.
it made me feel calm.
it was a rough week and i could hardly focus.
at about 6am,
i was awakened to this loud banging on my bedroom door…

Preparing To Say Goodbye
have you ever been in a situation,
where you know something is ending or change is coming,
but it doesn’t really hit you until it’s coming?
you can talk all day about wanting to move out your forest,
but as soon as the week or day before,
you suddenly start getting sad and feeling regret.
well welcome to that magical place called “the comfort zone”.
it’s a place where you can feel happiness or content,
but feel attached to what you are use to.
so my entire department was pulled into a big meeting today…
