Even though these ratchet ass pineapples get on my damn nerves with their antics, I think I am more disturb by that comment from Mr./Ms. Whitey. You have a system in this country that is set up to keep a whole race of people down and then you wonder why they act like they do. We are now seeing the remnants of all the kids whose parents grew up under Reaganomics, the War of Drugs which was a war on Blacks and the continued institutional racism that still so prevalent in our country fifty years after the Civil Rights movement. We have a whole generation of children whose parents lost ground during the last 35 years, who have given up hope and who have sort of checked out from raising their children to love themselves and love others who look like them. So many of us have got away from being proud to be black and loving our brothers and sisters to adopting European values of being selfish, and not caring about others. This behavior is result of economic hardship and a constant barrage of negativity being thrust on our community by the media that still continue to teach us to hate ourselves and those who look like us.
I am so sick of Whites who want to lump all of us together but never seem to want to lump their poor trailer trash relatives who are just as ratchet in the mix when they talk about themselves. If you ever had a chance to go to a rural Wal-Mart in a Southern State you will see exactly what I mean. Its amazing that Whites have the luxury of being able to distance themselves from their less than well off trashy cousins.
It used to bother me to see pineapples act like this but not anymore because I know who I am and I know that no matter what you do, how much money, how much education, it is not going to matter anyway to most Whites, they see you as this anyway. Our President is the perfect example. I wonder would it be different if White America had to endure what we have, how would they act. They are naturally mean spirited, selfish, hateful, and greedy, so they would probably have killed each other off long ago. Yes we got to do better but Whitey has a hand in this behavior as well.
