“Cool For The Summer”: The DL Anthem?

demi-lovato-cool-for-the-summer-single-ftreven tho summer is pretty much over,
i got put onto this song rather late.
its called “cool for the summer” and its sung by demi lovato.
now the beat is what had me open,
but as i was listening to the lyrics on the way to work…

i just knew she was talking about eating some vixen’s cooch.
the rest of the lyrics tho:

“Tell me what you want
What you like
It’s okay
I’m a little curious, too
Tell me if it’s wrong
If it’s right
I don’t care
I can keep a secret, can you?”

Don’t tell your mother
Kiss one another”

“Tell me if I won
If I did
What’s my prize?
I just wanna play with you, too

…and it made me an instant stan.

head_rocki listened to it all damn day.
repeat about 1000 times.
lord knows most dl situations start out like ^that.
demi is looking good too:

i wasn’t a fan of her last album.
at all.
i think ima check her newest one titled “confident” out tho.

  1. Never been into Demi Lovato But I’m check this song out and try The way you break down the lyrics has me intrigued.

  2. Hmm… Sounds a bit like Jessie j’s domino. I guess all child or teen stars have to break that she’ll they’re put in.

  3. I really like Demi as a person. She’s had issues with bullying, depression, and self esteem. She’s been through a lot of ups and downs, but it never made her bitter or selfish.

I don’t really listen to her music, but heard this and thought it was catchy/fun. She goes through lots of phases and puts it in her music. I’m loving this sexy and confident phase, didn’t think she had it in her. She’s looking good.

    1. ^i can relate to her struggle.
i didn’t really know her until she was judging on “x factor”.
i go to know her through that.
she seems sweet and trying to find herself.

  4. This is how I know I am old…because I swear that sounds like a dozen other songs I have heard in the last year. Pop and R&B have seemed to morph together into this electronic sound where any vocal can be layed on top of it. Do instruments even get played anymore?

  5. It’s definitely a catchy song. I saw the video a while back, and it was interesting.
However…I can’t get over that she’s still with that pedophile. LOL

  6. I like the sing, but I didn’t know the real meaning behind it until my friend was watching the VMAs with me and said, “This song is about lesbians.” Now I question everything.
