Someone once broke it down for me, the difference between rich ppl filing bankruptcy and how we would file. He said they file it to protect the money that they have like a “I ain’t paying you the full amount so take a part of my income” whereas we will do it once we have lost all of our money. Explains how Trump used the system to make sure he was good while filing bankruptcy for some of his businesses.
