will it be grand theft auto this time?
maybe mario?
another day; another mass shooting.
i think we are all getting pretty desensitized to them.
the usual things happen:
shock
fear
sympathy
move on
well this time,
this mass shooting was in odessa, texas.
“usa today” had to say this…
At least five people have been killed and 21 injured in Midland, Texas, shot by a man who has been killed by police, according to a press conference with Odessa Police Chief Michael Gerke.
The shooter was described by local authorities as a white male in his mid-30s. The incident started with a traffic violation. The driver opened fire on the officer and fled the scene.
The incident began at 2 pm. CST and led to a chase, but it remains unclear where most of the other shootings took place or when the shooter changed cars and got into a USPS truck.
this video from the scene was pretty triggering:

back in the day,
it was serial killing jackals terrorizing folks from going outside.
they would move in the shadows and strike innocent victims one by one.
these days,
it’s the mass shooters epidemic.
you can’t go anywhere without someone killing folks in a vicious rampage.
it’s really scary.

It’s sad, it’s really sad. I don’t see an agreeable solution to this issue, so it will continue, unfortunately.
I’ve just become numb to this phenomenon at this point…it is just another day in America. I keep hearing people say they want the government to do something about this problem, but I’m weary of the solution the government is going to put forward. Instead of making these guns less accessible, Trump is advocating “pre-crime” initiatives by calling for social media platforms to “detect mass shooters before they strike.” That raises red flags for reasons I shouldn’t have to state…
