I don’t see the problem if we’re just getting to know each other. Shit only gets complicated when you giving neck and ass in the restaurant restroom on the first date or not treating people the way you want to be treated.
We’d just take things slow until 2 months later, late one stormy night when he shows up at my doorstep with his glow in the dark trunks and says “Jay, I need you right now!”

When I got home from school and began feeling my way, I was told to never mess with people where I lived. I can honestly say that, over the years, I have, with discretion, dealt with folk in my various neighborhoods without ever encountering any problem. I think it depends on the individual and employing that little voice and heeding it.
